"What is Grostic?"

The Grostic procedure was named in honor of Dr. John F. Grostic, who developed it in the early 1940’s. This procedure uses a precise and accurate analysis of the upper cervical vertebra in the neck. It provides a specific system for an upper cervical correction. This system requires a very precise and accurate analysis of your upper cervical area.

Dr. Jack Lynady uses a tool that is carefully measures your body’s imbalance, allowing him insight into which side your head is misaligned. From this analysis, Dr. Lynady will deliver a specific hand adjustment to the atlas, thereby reducing nerve interference to the nervous system.



This work has emerged over the years, with changes occurring as the clinical data dictated the change. In the early 1970’s, Dr. Grostic’s son, John, continued the research and teachings of his father, by developing the theory of the effects of an upper cervical subluxation on the nervous system, and improving the calculation format for the convenience of the doctor.
